IT User Advisory Committee
The purpose of the IT User Advisory Committee (ITUAC) is to facilitate the development of the University's Information Technology infrastructures, resources, and services in support of USU. The ITUAC advises on IT policy, plans, and proposals as submitted by members of the committee, the Office of the VP for IT, USU Network Managers group, and/or the IT Executive Advisory Committee. Recommendations are passed along to the IT Executive Advisory Committee (ITEAC) and/or the Vice President for Information Technology for consideration. The ITUAC is a representative body which encourages membership from interested University units. The ITUAC embraces efficient, cooperative, coordinated, and integrated IT approaches that best serve the mission, vision, core values, goals and objectives of Utah State University.

The role of the Committee Chair is to:
- Convene the committee on a regular basis.
- Receive from committee members agenda topics.
- Conduct the meeting, focusing discussions on information technology improvements and solutions for USU.
- Identify sub-committees for further study and input on issues of special identification.
- Committee chair servers for one year, and is replaced prior to the close of each spring semester.
The Office of the VP for IT will:
- Provide assistance to the chair for preparation of final agenda with supporting materials, information, recommendations, and presenters.
- Arrange logistical details for meeting location, presentation equipment, and materials dissemination.
