Request Software Installation and Data Storage

From here, you can fill out a form to request that software be installed for a semester and/or data be stored for a semester on a classroom computer. We cannot guarantee that your data or software will stay on the computer for an entire semester due to the possibility that a machine may develop problems and have to be reimaged or replaced. We apologize if that happens and please let us know that we need to replace previously installed software or data.  

• Those requesting a software installation are responsible for delivering the software to be installed to the Service Desk(JQL 108). Turnaround time for software install and data retention requests are two working days. Currently this feature is only available for computers in the New Engineering building classrooms while we pilot-test our new computer configuration.
• Information Technology will make a good faith effort to install the requested software. We may not be able to install certain types of software if incompatibilities arise or the software requires a significant reconfiguration of a machine such that it negatively impacts performance and/or overall user experience. A determination of this nature will be made by Information Technology.
