Your Password is about to Change
On Monday, March 10th your password will be reset to a twelve-character temporary password that you will need to change using a three (3) step procedure.
This change affects your login to many systems that use your A# as the username, including Banner SSB (Access), Aggies Exchange Email, Aggiemail, Blackboard, Proxy, and VPN.
This will NOT affect users Banner INB Account

What should I do now?
- Know your current six-character Banner PIN.
- This is the password that you presently use with your A# to log into many systems, such as Banner, Aggiemail, and Blackboard. (Note, it is not necessarily your password for Aggies Exchange Email.)
- If you do not know your current PIN, please call the IT Service Desk at 797-HELP (4357) or 1-877-878-8325 to have your Banner PIN reset.
- You will not be able to reset your current Banner PIN after 7:00 PM on Friday March 7th.
- Continue to use your A# and current passwords until March 10th.
What do I need to do beginning March 10th?
- Change your Temporary Password
- Beginning Monday, March 10th when logging in to Self Serve Banner, Aggie Exchange Email, or other systems that use your A# as the username (Aggiemail, Blackboard, etc.) you will need to use a NEW, temporary password.
- Your temporary passwords is constructed by putting your first and last initials (upper case) and your birth day MMDD (not year) in front of your old six-character Banner PIN
- (format: FLmmddpppppp).
- For example, if your name was John Doe with your birthdate being January 21 and your Banner PIN was happy1, your new, temporary password would be JD0121happy1.
NOTE: This new password is TEMPORARY and must be changed. Access to these systems will be denied for those who have not changed their password before April 10.
