Information Technology Campus Networking Charge
In an effort by IT to stabilize the network infrastructure of Utah State University, we now charge for the network connection regardless of phone installation. When a telephone is disconnected, the telephone charges will cease, but network fees will continue. IT will not automatically disconnect the network service when a phone disconnection is requested. If you are accessing the network at all, in any form, i.e. computer, laptop, wireless, the network fee will be assessed. Many on campus link the network fee on your IT invoice as a charge for the active data jack located throughout offices across campus. The fee really is assessed to cover the costs of your department’s utilization of the network here at USU. The charge for network connection and services is $19.50/month.
