Knowledgebase (FAQ)

There are three different ways to invite someone to chat with you. You can:

• Mouse over any person's name in Quick Contacts, and click Invite to chat in the profile card that pops up.
• Click Add contact at bottom of Quick Contacts -- then, enter your friend's email address in the box, and click add.
• Use auto-complete by entering your friends' name in the box at the top of Quick Contacts. Once the name of the person you'd like to invite appears, select Invite to chat.

If you'd like to add more than one contact at once, click Add contact, then click add multiple people. In the new window that appears, you can add as many contacts as you'd like by entering each address on a new line or by separating the addresses with commas.

When you invite an Aggiemail, Gmail or Google Talk user to chat with you, the person will be asked to accept your chat invitation. Once your contact accepts, you'll instantly be able to chat. If you invite someone who doesn't use Aggiemail, Gmail or Google Talk, he or she will be asked to sign up for the services. Once the person signs up, you'll be able to chat with each other.
