VPN (Virtual Private Network)

By creating an encrypted stream between your computer and campus, USU's VPN (Virtual Private Network) server provides you with a secure, remote connection to the university network. Authorized users can access the university network from anywhere (home, hotel, conference, etc.) with a secure Internet connection. If you're working from an off campus computer, you'll need to go through USU's VPN to access many of the Library's databases.

For the VPN connection to be established, the system authenticates users with A-numbers and associated passwords (same as Banner).

The USU VPN does not require a client download. With no client to download, configuration is done through your current Windows or Macintosh operating systems.

VPN Configuration Made Easy
