The IT System Administration team maintains backend servers for all core campus services including: Banner, Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix, SQL, DNS (Domain Name System) and VPN (Virtual Private Network) among others. We also monitor and manage USU's cutting-edge data center.
If you want the USU IT System Administration team to help you host servers or services, we can provide any of the following solutions:

The data center is located in the SER building on the USU campus, and includes redundant power circuits backed by batteries and generators, in-row chilled water cooling, connections to USU's high speed network, and a web-accessable KVM system.
The System Administration team maintains a VMWare cloud where we can create virtual servers where you can install your own OS and software. This gives you many of the advantages of full server colocation, but is often more cost effective.
One of our system administrators will manage the OS on your server, allowing you to concentrate on application management. Your IT System Administrator will:
Some services can run on a shared server, for example web applications or wikis. If you are running one of these and want to integrate it with an existing USU IT server, we can create an SLA to provide server space for this.
