There are 11 open access computer labs on campus, 7 are managed by Information Technology Computer Labs and contain lab resources.

Finding A Computer Lab

  • We have 11 different lab locations on campus. The IT computer labs run 7 of those labs
  • The Sci- Tech lab: is located in the basement of the library in room 002. A perfect quiet place for you to go
  • Information Commons lab: located on the first floor of the library, you don’t need your ID card to access this lab
  • Agricultural Science lab: located in the AG Sci building. Ideal to find specific software such as landscape, statistics and more
  • The TSC: has the longest hours of any lab on campus. This lab is here for you convenience
  • The UR Graphics lab: located on the first floor of the University Reserve building rooms 101 & 102. This is a creative hub for all art, music, and design students. It features 72 Mac computers, 6 Wacom Tablets, and Midi keyboards
  • Family Life Lab: Located in room L201 in the second floor of the breeze way connecting the family life and Ray B. West building

How do I find a lab?

You can visit the computer labs page and refer to our campus map. When in doubt head to the library and ask a consultant on duty what other labs on campus are available!

What does open access mean?

Open access means as a student with your student ID you have access to the computer lab and its resources.
