The Security Team looks out for faculty, staff, and students by monitoring the USU network for indications of malicious attacks from the Internet as well as clues that local computers have been hacked.  The Security team weekly scans all computer resources connected to USU's network to ensure the systems are patched, up-to-date and free of known vulnerabilities.
