Callouts are text boxes, arrows, or other shapes that allow to draw attention to parts of your recording screen. This option is only available in the timeline view. To add a call, select Callout under Edit from the Task List. Then choose Add Callout.

1) Select the shape of your callout.
2) Choose the shape orientation.
3) Choose the fill and border color.
4) Choose your text/font options.
5) Type in the text that will be displayed in the callout.
6) Choose the fade, shadow, opacity, and size of your callout.
7) Callout placement is done using X and Y coordinates. You can preview your coordinate selections in the video preview window.
8) Select OK and then Finished when you have made your callout selections.
9) The callout is placed on the Callouts track of the timeline.
10) The callout clip on the timeline allows you to adjust the amount of time your callout is displayed. You can also adjust when the callout is displayed in your video.

1) To adjust how long your clip displays, click on the end of the callout clip and with the double sided arrow, drag the end of the clip to the appropriate time length.
2) To adjust when the callout is displayed, click and drag the clip to the new display location.

To change a callout's properties, select Callouts under Edit in the Task List.
1) Select from the list the callout you would like to modify.
2) Choose Modify Selected Callout.
3) Make your adjustments and choose OK.
Note: You can also remove and duplicate callouts using this menu.
