Task Description: How do I use the map view?

You can choose between a horizontal view and a vertical view.
- Move the slider left to zoom out.
- Move the slider right to zoom in.

6 - Slideshow submenu
7 - Slideshows in the slideshow submenu.
Select the main menu
Click the drop down menu to select a theme collection or "All" to see all themes.
Click on the theme that you want to use.
A pop up box will appear asking if you would like to change the current theme to the one that you have selected, select "Change"
- Select where you would like to add the submenu. You can only add submenus in the images that show the main menu.
- I will be using the main menu.
- Move your mouse over the warning sign. This will tell you what is wrong with the submenu.
- This warning sign says, "Menu contains no buttons"
To fix the submenu, you have to add movies and/or slideshows.
- Make sure "Media" is selected
- Select the "Movies" or "Photos" tab
- Click and drag the movie/photo into the submenu.
- This will fix the warning sign.
- Select where you would like to add a movie.
- I will be using the main menu.
This sign says, "Movie Path Not Yet Defined"
1 - Select "Media"
2 - Select the "Movies" tab.
3 - Click and drag a movie into the movie path.
- Select where you would like to add the slideshow.
- I will be using the main menu.
This sign says, "Slideshow Is Empty"
1- Select "Media"
2 - Select the "Photos" tab.
3 - Click and drag photos into the slideshow.
Click the item that you would like to delete and then press "Delete" on your keyboard.
Select the main menu.
1 - You can chose if you would like to show the intro of the main menu or not.
- Check the box if you would like the Intro, uncheck the box if you do not want the intro.
- Notice that this theme does not have an outro. The outro is similar to the intro.
2 - Choose the length of the "Loop Duration"
- Move the slider left to have a shorter amount of time until the main menu replays.
- Move the slider right to have a longer amount of time until the main menu replays.
3 - You can change the main menu song if you would like.
- Select "Media"
- Select "Audio"
- Click and drag the audio to the image of the CD and music note.
4 - Change the "Menu Volume"
- Move the slider left for a softer sound.
- Move the slider to the right for a louder sound.
5 - Choose the highlight
- Click in the highlight box
- Select the color that you would like the highlighter to be.

Click on the red circle at the top corner to exit the "Colors" box.
6 - Exit
- Click on the " x " icon to exit the menu info

1 - Check the box if you want to have the movie loop.
2 - Click on the " x " icon to exit the menu info.
1 - Loop slideshow: Check the box if you want the slideshow to repeat.
2 - Display navigation arrows: Check the box if you want navigation arrows to appear on your slideshow. Only useful if the slideshow transition is set to manual. The arrows act as a visual cue.
3 - Add image files to DVD-ROM: Check this if you want to adds copies of the photos and movies to the DVD so viewers can download them to their computers.
4 - Show titles and comments: Check the box if you want to show the title and comments.
5 - Duck audio while playing movies: Check this box to lower the volume of the slideshow soundtrack while the movie in your slideshow—and its associated audio—plays.
6 - Click and drag an audio into the box to add audio to the slidshow.
7 - Change the volume of the audio
- Move the slider left for a softer sound.
- Move the slider to the right for a louder sound.
8 - Change the Duration of the photos. This is how long it will take until it will change to the next photo.
- Click the drop down menu and select a duration time.
Change the Transition:
9 - Click the drop down menu and then select a transition.
10 - Click on an arrow direction to make that transition go in a certain direction. (Page flip & right arrow = the image will look like it's flipping a page in a book to the right).
11 - Click the " x " icon to exit the slideshow info.
To further edit certain menus, double click on the image for it and it will bring you directly to the menu.
To exit the map, click on "Return"
