New Phone

Great news, the campus telephone system is receiving an upgrade! This summer, the upgrade will roll out across campus, building by building.

Once your building’s installation date approaches, you will receive an email with detailed scheduling information. Please note that we cannot accommodate early upgrade requests at this time.

  1. Watch your inbox for an email announcing your new phone installation timeline.
  2. Save any voicemail messages you want to retain. Refer to KB0015637 for instructions.

Please note that your current custom settings will not transfer to the new system. You will need to reconfigure settings using the helpful links provided or, for features such as Monitored Extensions (picking up another line), request them using a Telephone Support Ticket .

Please be aware that during the upgrade process, the MiCollab App Directory will only display individuals who have transitioned to the new system and your Outlook contacts. To find users not yet in the new system, please use directory.usu.edu.
