Purchase Only Compatible Systems through USU Authorized Channels

New computers must be fully compatible with USU computer management systems and applications. Not all computers are. Please work with your assigned IT support staff before purchasing to identify models, configurations, and sources that fully support these new requirements and ease onboarding and enrolling.

We recommend that Apple devices are purchased through the USU bookstore, and Windows devices are purchased through EZ-Buy. Please do not order devices on-the-fly through Amazon, Best Buy or other sources without first consulting and receiving approval from your assigned IT support staff. This will ensure that your device(s) will be prepared and able to manually enroll with “Intune” and “Jamf” computer management platforms and USU-supported configurations.

Using the following purchasing channels will ensure that your computer arrives “pre-enrolled” and ready-to-roll. This is the most efficient way to ensure that your computer is fully compliant, minimizing onboarding effort, and guaranteeing compatibility with USU computer management requirements:
