Vendor Expectations

At the event, please be prepared to:

  • Engage USU administration, faculty, staff, and students with hands-on demonstrations at your booth. We want your booth visitors fully engaged and interested in what you have to offer. A short looping video presentation makes a nice visual attraction.
  • Share quick tips and tricks that faculty can use to add value to their teaching.
  • Provide informational handouts and materials about your products and services.
  • Distribution of branded swag is encouraged.

Vendor-Donated Prizes

  • To encourage participation throughout the IT Expo, we ask vendors to donate at least one prize that can be given away as part of the event. Vendors will be recognized for their prize donations.
  • The Grand Prizes are specifically targeted to USU faculty, administrators, staff, and students. Please let us know what items you will be donating as a door prize or as a grand prize as soon as possible so that we can advertise those prizes under your company name.
  • The prize drawing takes place after the event. Winners, their prizes, and the prize donor are posted on the IT Expo homepage. Winners are also notified via email about the prize, including the donor, and how to pick them up at the IT Service Desk.

Computer Quantity Discount Quote Participation

(Computer Vendors Only)

The final specifications and pricing on your hardware, service, and support are due on April 5. Remember to include upgrades or downgrades with their associated price changes when you submit your final quote. We also ask you to select and configure a laptop that you feel would meet the needs of the University.

Quotes received after the due date will not be considered in the final decision process.

Each vendor will present their system as outlined in the minimum requirements and show any other products they wish to highlight. Please bring a demonstration system that matches your quoted system.

We have asked computer vendors to meet these minimum requirements:

  • Hardware must match our needs as outlined in the system minimum requirements.
  • Every system (including components) must be identical.
  • Personal Purchase Quote for faculty, staff, and students must be available.
  • Documentation on parts and warranty replacement services.
