Pharos Remote

Summary:  Use Pharos Remote to manage print jobs on your printers.  The primary purpose of pharos remote is to assist users to re-print print jobs without charging.  Examples include paper jams, toner smudging, software glitches, etc... Pharos Remote is Windows compatible only.

Server Address: pharos2.usu.edu (used during installation)

Filter: You can filter groups based on your management area, select a link below for your lab or area (Listed by Lab or Department).

Charging: To release a job with pharos remote, select the desired job in the main window and click print on the right hand side. Fill in the Charge to User box with your account name and click OK. The Find Jobs button in the top right will refresh the jobs list.

Password: To change your password, click on Users>account in the left drop down menus. Your account should appear in the middle window. Select your account and click the General menu in the bottom window. Click the "..." icon in the right-hand side of the password row to change your password.  Contact Gary Egbert (435-797-1476) if you have trouble with your account or password.
