USU Opera World Premiere: Uncovered
USU Opera is privileged to produce the world premiere of Uncovered by Lori Laitman, an operatic adaptation of the memoir of the same name by Leah Lax. This personal work narrates the author's own story of her journey from Hasidic Judaism towards acceptance of herself as a gay woman, produced with special residencies by the author and composer, guest directed by renowned director Beth Greenberg. Sung in English with supertitles.
