MFA Exhibition
Title - Artifact by Max Saunders
Description – Max Saunders MFA Thesis show “Artifact” is a collection of woodfired vessels. His work explores gestural mark-making using both functional and sculptural vessels as a canvas. Forms range from teapots, and cups to large vessels that seem to reference archeological relics and geological processes. Texture, time, and material processes play an important role in the work.
