Description – Max Saunders MFA Thesis show “Artifact” is a collection of woodfired vessels. His work explores gestural mark-making using both functional and sculptural vessels as a canvas. USU Symphony Orchestra Concerto Evening

Greet the winners of the annual Student Concerto Competition as they perform favorite works of the solo repertoire: Bella Fausett and Sidney Tovey (violin), Layton Loucks (baritone), Amy DeSpain (trumpet), and Hao-Wen Chang (piano). Music by Rachmaninoff, Rossini, Bruch and Arutunian. The concert is live at the Daines Concert Hall and livestreamed at ccapresents.usu.edu.

Wind Orchestra

Concerts are part of the band large ensemble curriculum. As capstone events, they typically occur twice per semester. Students are required to participate in these events as a large part of their grades, and these concerts are the culmination of several weeks of classroom rehearsals.
