Concerts are part of the band’s large ensemble curriculum. As capstone events, they typically occur twice per semester. Participation in these events is a significant component of students’ grades, and the concerts are the culmination of several weeks of classroom rehearsals. All concerts are associated with one or more of the following band ensembles: MUSC 4700 Wind Orchestra, MUSC 3795 Wind Symphony, MUSC 3790 Symphonic Band, and MUSC 3785 Marching Band.

Christmas in Montpelier

Ross Peterson is among the most beloved American history teachers ever to step inside a college classroom. Christmas in Montpelier is the stage adaptation of Peterson's book which offers a look into his early life where his wry humor, work ethic, and kindness were honed. Come watch Christmas come to life in this one-man show starring Richie Call.

Tri-State Band Symposium

The Tri-State Band Symposium is an Honor Band Experience for the Sri-State's finest wind and percussion players and their directors. Annually hosting around 150 of the finest wind and percussion players from the region's finest high schools, this event has attracted students and directors from Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming and Colorado. It features internationally-recognized clinicians as well as the finest performers from Utah State.
