To get a full page video banner reach out to the IT Web Team. After we create your page follow these steps:

Steps to implementing the auto-play video banner:

  1. Upload your video to Omni CMS and publish it (IT Web Team will have to upload for you); must be short
  2. Create a gallery asset and add a placeholder image (any image will do)
  3. Add the video's dependency tag link in the link section
  4. Save and publish your gallery asset
  5. Add the gallery asset you created to your page by clicking on the Banner green edit button and selecting it from your assets list
  6. In Properties --> Page Parameters, select Video Banner from the Gallery type
  7. Save and publish the page

Video Specifications for Use in Homepage Video Banners
To keep your homepage load time from lagging, please use the following recommendations when creating video for use in homepage video banners:
  • 1080p
  • Keep the video short (30 seconds or less) and easily loopable (the video will need to run on repeat and should transition with that in mind)
  • Aim for less than 20mb video file size (10-15mb is better) to optimize for the web
  • Avoid jarring movement and transitions, keeping things smooth creates a better user experience
  • Do not include text in the video, this is decorative, not informative
  • Use a service to optimize for web load times (Handbrake is one option)
